| These classes called Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement (ATM) are usually conducted in a group setting. You are verbally guided through a series of elegantly designed movement sequences where attention is focused on ways to reduce effort and make the movements easier. Natural grace, coordination, and flexibility are learned rather than forced. People often make dramatic changes in a very short time as habits of stiffness or tension immediately melt away. These remarkable results come from changing neuromuscular habits, without stretching or forcing, and can be used to improve virtually any activity.
