This PMS (premenstrual syndrome) protocol is designed to supply your eggs, ovaries, and hormones with all the nutrients they need to function optimally.. These evidence-based products are what I use with my female patients. The Reclaim Your Hormones Program gets way more individualized with your supplement protocol, as it’s based on your lab results, and includes a step-by-step approach to eat, sleep, and relax your way to hormone balance. This is a 12-week experiential program where you assess and balance insulin, cortisol, and the four phases of your menstrual cycle. Choose the self-serve DIY version or the full-serve patient version.

DR. LAURA’S EGG QUALITY & FERTILITY PROTOCOL

1. Women’s Twice Daily Essentials

I use the Women’s Twice-Daily Essential Packets as foundational support. Learn more about why I use these. Each packet contains:

  • 1 Twice-Daily Multi™ capsule
  • 2 OsteoForce™ capsules
  • 1 OmegAvail™ Synergy gelcap
  • 2 FemGuard + Balance™ capsules

1 packet with breakfast and 1 with dinner.

Some women need more vitamin D, which is crucial for hormone balance. Test your D once a year, and aim for serum levels of 25OH between 60-80 ng/mL

2. CoQ10 as Q-Evail™

Q-Evail™ is a special delivery form of CoQ10 that enhances energy production in the theca cells of your ovaries. Shown to improve egg quality. Your mitochondria are where you make energy (ATP), and your eggs need a lot of energy in order to divide and mature. CoQ10 is especially useful for “mature” reproducers over age 35.

1 softgel with breakfast and dinner until a positive conception, and then discontinue.

2. Inositol as Sensitol™

Sensitol™ is a combo of myoinositol, d-chiro inositol, and alpha-lipic acid. This paper reports that inositol improves egg quality for all women undergoing IVF. It’s the #1 ovary vitamin, and improves ovarian function accross the board. Discontinue when conception is achieved.

2 caps twice a day, preferably away from food – like when you get up and before bed. You can continue this through pregnancy if you’re at risk for gestational diabetes, but please consult your practitioner!

3. Melatonin

Melatonin has a growing body of research to support its use for egg quality. The rationale is because of its anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and genomic-stabilizing properties. In natural medicine, regulating your circadian hormones (melatonin and cortisol) supports your cycles and fertility.

1 cap at bedtime. Discontinue once you’ve conceived.
