Fasting With Food®

  1. I chose to do a hybrid of making the soups at home, and ordering the crackers, olives and fasting bars. The crackers were easy to find in local stores, but the olives were only available online, and were quite expensive. Is there a reason why Gaea is so special, or could I just get a jar of Kalamata olives that has no added sugar or salt in the local grocery?
Also, the fasting bars took almost a month to arrive. If people are going to order the Prolon products, they should be aware that they must plan ahead.
I was surprised how much I liked cucumbers with salt. I could eat them every day. The soups were very easy to make and quite delicious. I think I will add all of these to my regular diet for lunch or snacks.
I do have some feedback for you on the recipes. It would make more sense if the list of ingredient is in the order that they will be added. Also, two of the soups had an ingredient listed that was not included in the instructions, so I had to guess when to add it.

Overall, I’m very happy with the program you have put together, and I’m happy to report that I am 5.5 pounds lighter and 2” smaller in the waist today. My BMI is in the healthy range (just barely). I feel great, and I can easily do this fast several times a year. Next time, I’ll try making the snack bars myself.

    1. Thanks for this great feedback! Which ingredient was not included in the instructions? If you cannot remember we will try to figure it out ourselves.
